a problem with them expecting me to learn another language for their
convenience.
I speak a smattering of French and somewhat less Japanese (mostly "Mo
ichi do, kudasai."). If I were to move somewhere where English was not
a primary language, I'd at least make the effort to gain a functional
knowledge of the local language.
I'm not saying that publishing things bilingualy is a bad thing -- if
fact, I think it's great. I'm not asking people to give up their
culture, either. If there's a significant population in the area that
speaks Greek better than English, then maybe it would be a good idea to
publish everything in both languages. But for one guy?
So... um... yeah. Apparently that does raise my hackles.
