I totally agree. I also believe it's a case of hackers going after big,
bad Microsoft. If Apache was on top, then they would be getting hacked.
BTW, Apache has been hacked as well. I also believe that Microsoft
should do a better job in releasing a more hack-proof product, but
overall, IIS is not bad.

The problem here is not really IIS, the problem is the people out there
who 
are managing these servers, and home users who install these web servers

with out any idea what to do with.

I am not a huge fan of iis, but it is not a bad product. Many of these 
worms are attacking holes that could easily be closed with 5-10 minutes
of 
work. You don't even need all of those patches to make sure you are ok.
