Somewhat related, I was accosted the other day by a stupid liberal
whacknut the other day when I went out to lunch. He wanted me to join
in protesting the Republican Convention. Protesting the convention?!?
WTF? It's part of our political process. I might be talked into
protesting policies, but certainly not the convention itself.
So how's this for a paranoia 2+2 = ? The freakout about terrorist
disruption of the elections is obviously a cover for justification to
authorize locking up peaceful protestors exercising their freedom of
speech.
Yay for paranoia!
Oh, and CBS last night had a whole segment on Olympics paranoia.
Apparently military and paramilitary security personnel outnumber
athletes 10:1 and they're still worried about the lack of security.
