Owing your own business means working more then the other guy.  40 hour
weeks equals a vacation.  It is a lot of work.  Check your credit rating
and setup a LLC to minimize the risks to your personal assets.  Save every
penny.  Actually you need to calculate how much you will need.  You need
more then just the franchise cost because that doesn't account for other costs.

If you want a franchise that costs 65K in today's money in 3 years.  You
need calculate the average price increase a year for that particular
franchise.  Then find out all applicable costs - such a permits and license
costs.  Add in about 10% extra for misc costs.  Don't forget about pay
roll.  You don't need to save all of it since you can take out a loan.  But
not many banks will give you a loan for 100% of the cost even if you have
glowing recos from CF-Community.  With the amount of money you will be
taking out I think most banks will assign you a commercial banker.

You should talk to an accountant before you do everything.  That is
probably one cost that will save you a lot of headaches.
