I won't get into attempting to default the situation as you are clearly
going to take anything said as continued (but I'm sorry, I still feel
imagined) abuse. I will say however that at no time did I intended to
insult or attack you. I was hoping to get some lively discussion and may
very well have been tactless.
(Although in the future if I'm tactless then I wish you would SAY THAT
rather than challenge my reading comprehension, call me childish and cast
aspersions on "my kind" (I still don't know what that means). I would have
clarified myself, apologized for the misunderstanding and we might have
settled the issue amicably three days ago. )
I apologize now for any insult, intended or imagined. I restate that I
respect your strength of conviction and your ability to defend it. You may
believe this or not, but I would miss your viewpoint on this list.
