To clarify, i believe that while some of those who served with him don't "support" Kerry and his run for the presidency, i believe that when asked, ALL of them have said he was a good soldier, leader, etc. So, i should of said that those men who served with him support the idea that Kerry was a competent soldier, not necessarily his bid for the presidency. Would that be accurate?

It's the right wingers who are taking these people's opinion (which like you said, they are free to offer) and running wild with it. I wish both sides would let it go.

Not true. He only has one supporter. three of the five
crewmen on one of the boats, Bill Zaldonis, Steven
Hatch, and Steve Gardner don't support him.

  Yes he did.

  Yes again

It's not the right-wingers, it's the people that
served with him. They have a right to speak out. Maybe
it's because he accused them of war crimes.
Doesn't mean they shouldn't be heard. Kerry's the one
that keeps bringing up his war record so if all but
one person that served with him oppose them let them
  speak.
When all is said and done he should come out unscathed
and we can move on to the next issue.

Again don't be pissed at the right-wingers, save your
anger for Kerry's 254 fellow naval officers and
  crewmen that are speaking out.
