Hi All,

I'm Guy...you may remember me from such memorable posts as "What the hell am I doing?" or "What does iterate mean again?" or how about that classic "Dammit stop throwing muffins!"

Anywho...I may be setting up to jump in the CF ring again after a lengthy absence filled with manual labour and medieval studies. However, in the last year or two CF has made some dramatic leaps and changes. How do I get back on this crazy train called life?

I can still code CMS' with my eyes generally closed in CF 5.0, but these CFC's and FuseBox and Blackstone have my head spinning. Where I should I start to brush up again? What must I "absolutely" learn to get competitive again?

As always money is an issue. I can't simply run out and buy the newest CFWACK at $80 (CDN)

Oddly enough, here in Ottawa (Silicon Valley North) there is no CFUG anymore and developers are few and far between. Perhaps you might know someone in this area?!? (Perhaps I might fire up the CFUG again)

~Guy
