And people wonder why there is a downturn in .COM stocks? Gee - could it be
that turning a profit was overlooked? We get the same crap all the time from
potential clients. They say that so and so can do it for x amount. I tell
them fine - Let me get you their number. We charge a lot and make no bones
about the fact that we are worth every penny. Sooner or later, the bozos
that don't understand that time = money will be out of business. Until then,
the good business people have to deal with the deeply ingrained
misconceptions that these same short-sighted people have perpetuated on the
marketplace.
The good news is, these people will either become our clients at today's
rate or down the road at tomorrows rate. Problem is, when they come back
tomorrow, they will pay more, have less money (they spent what they had on
the bozos) and will expect us to be sympathetic and "cut them a break."
Sooner or later the "whores" will lose interest and leave the marketplace.
Once they do, the marketplace will stabilize. We can already see that.
Doesn't much matter what business you look at - you must turn a profit.
