Still the question was whether the person was arrested in Canada or
the US. Since the driver was arrested for illegal possession of
alcohol, its a good bet that they were arrested in the US. Given that
the drinking age in Albera is 18 or 19, then it mostly likely happened
on the Montana side of the border.

As a friend of mine from Lethbridge once said, "We don't need that
