I've got an ethernet jack in my kitchen counter. :-)

And I've got a wallbox in my basement that handles POTS, cable,
internet, and has the wiring for video distribution (though I haven't
paid for that module yet), my cable has OnDemand, and I keep eyeing
the X-10 stuff in the SmartHome catalog.
