Speculation is that Al Qaeda or Arab terrorist organisations have joined
with Chechyen rebels to further their cause. In the same way that there
was no direct link between Iraq and Al Qaeda/9 11 before the invasion of
Iraq, and now Al Qaeda has made Iraq a new front in its war against the
West, so too they speculate that Al Qaeda or some other militant islamic
arabic group has joined forces and turned what was formerly a national
problem in Russia into a wider 'cause' for terrorists and terrorism.
There is the usual inane 'wall of silence' from the Kremlin which for
some reason doesn't know how to act in times of crises, falling back on
the old communist tactic of say nothing and let the people eat cake.
Only The State needs to know, no one else. PR is for the weak, informing
the 'peasants' is apparently not their concern.
It was heart wrenching to see so many children traumatised and wounded.
Those men and women that did this are animals. Reports are that after
the first explosion (still no idea what exactly happened to spark the
explosion) the terrorists started shooting hostages indescriminately,
women and children, old and young.
