When they start on the "extended warranty" stuff, I tell them that i absolutely MUST have the warranty, but the extra money is more than i can afford. Its fun to watch them all of a sudden talk DOWN the extended warranty so that i'll still buy the product.....

I have, on the other hand, turned around and started walking off after
the 3rd "no, thank you. not interested. screw off" kinda response.
I announced loudly that I was going somewhere I wouldn't be harassed by
the staff and got 10% off from the manager. :-)
