>It turns out they were wrong and the UN was right.
The UN was right? The UN said there were WMDs. Hans
Blix report, which I posted here two or three times,
stated that they knew the weapons were there they just
couldnt find the exact location. The UN resolution
also warned Saddam to comply or suffer extreme
consequences. Thats what happened. Before the war
Bush wanted to go back to the UN one last time and get
the words military action in the resolution but France
swore even if every other country in the UN approved
it they would veto it so the point was moot.
How does that play out to the UN was right?
Now the UN's power is being used to isolate America by
claiming we committed an illegal
act.
The UN has always been anti-America and anti-Israel.
And all the points Mike brought up when with the crack
comment.
>This means America has forfeited its moral highground
and spent
all of its "trust capital".
Besides standing by and watching genocide happen lets
not forget about all the corruption going on with the
food-for-oil scandal.
Looks like youre high ground is a compost :)
