Why is it in poor taste? It's satire. If it insults anybody, it insults
people from Oklahoma, who are generally regarded as rednecks, the last
politically correct people to lampoon (and judging from previous threads, a
lot of Southerns are starting to rise up against that).

The Oklahoma City bombing was initially suspected of being Arab terrorists.

Did you read the entire column this came from. The whole tenor is along
these lines. Obviously, a lot of people enjoy this type of humor.  It's not
to my taste, but it's hardly as offensive as a lot of stuff that passes as
"entertainment" these days.
