If you REALLY believe Bush is Hitler......um....besides the medication you should be prescribed :)......you can take solace in the fact that this "dictator" is subject to the laws of a democratic society.

I am.   (Everybody charge up your flamethrowers!)

Read "The Rise And Fall Of The 3rd Reich".  Mr. Hitler did think we
was going to make the world a better place by restoring order and
cleansing human DNA which he blamed for the world's problems; he just
needed to take over the world first.

As with all dictators, he started by claiming he could REALLY help if
he just had some more power to do everything he wanted.  The problem
is the Shakespeare Effect: power corrupts, absolute power corrupts
  absolutely.

Mr. Woodward's "Plan of Attack" outlines a leader that feels like he
could REALLY help the world if he just had more power.  Dissenters in
Mr Bush's midst are "retired" or leave "to pursue other
  opportunities."

His isolation was evident in the first debate - without his sycophants
  surrounding him, he was dumbfounded.

Similar to Mr. Hitler, Mr. Bush's supporters are willing to overlook
even the largest conservative sin: fiscal irresponsibility.  They
abandon their beliefs in a seemingly blind belief that Mr. Bush is
doing the right thing.  Few (but some) have spoken out, such as Pete
Peterson or Mr. O'Neil, but you average man on the street refuses to
listen; and if they listen they refuse to believe.

It reminds me of "Band of Brothers".  When the allies told townspeople
about the concentration camps, they didn't believe them; when the
allies brought the townspeople to it they didn't believe it - they
claimed the allies had done this to trick them.

I am reminded of this every time a self proclaimed "conservative"
tells me that they're voting for Mr. Bush.  No true fiscal
conservative would this since Mr. Bush has presided over the largest
expansion of the federal government since Mr. Johnson's "Great
society".  His non-defense spending has increased at double the rate
of Mr. Clinton's.  When Secretary O'Neil complained, he was fired.

Yet, "conservatives" don't believe their lying eyes, they believe Mr.
Bush; and this reminds me of Mr. Hitler's followers.
