I've never owned a car that wasn't made in America, so it won't change my
habits any. But there are a lot of American companies out there that are
doing nothing, and a lot of foreign companies that are doing a lot.

Being bought by GM..probably included in that. I know the Daewoo dealers
have set up a fund because I have family member who participated. Don't
know where the press info would be though.

Ford Foundation is making other substantial contributions as well.

Some will, some won't. Some will do it and not disclose it, as they don't
want to get on the target list for every charity on the planet. Believe
me, I donated to several, and got beg letters from several hundred more, so
I can only assume that the ones I donated to sold my name to the mass
mailer for the others. This does not make me want to donate in my name or
my company name again, although I'll continue to make anonymous
contributions, especially to the funds for the children of the police and
firefighters.
