Hypothetically speaking,
lets talk when the next round of until layoffs occurs...

pick a number.... lets say 20000 people sacked... Ok... then we'll see if
they offer
a 'relief' package to their redundant employees and if they say 1 Million...
lets see, how much does that work out to be per person... 1 million / 20000.
Ah... that's 50 buck each, enough to catch a train home, buy dinner for the
kids and start looking for a new job...

All the while the most board members gets this amount per month plus stock
options!
Hey, I didn't have a problem with honest donations where people actually
reach into their pockets, but we're talking about Ford here. A million
bucks, give me a break! it's chump change.
