No, CNN. Like my original link suggested. And my conjecture about what
he meant by his remark is no more strange than asserting that Kerry
would have sat by and done nothing had he been President at the time
of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

I tend to take the words of the VP and President fairly seriously,
yes. (and FWIW I did reference the CNN article referring to Cheney's
statement in my original e-mail and was not referencing the Onion
piece in my last.) When the President or VP says something like, "If
we make the wrong choice, then the danger is that we'll get hit again
-- that we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the
standpoint of the United States." It disturbs me.
