I disagree... I don't believe it's correct for people to out their
family just because they're family... if anything, I think it's
_worse_ to out a family member than to out a stranger... even moreso
with Dick Cheney being a very public figure... the fact that a lot of
modern families betray and distrust each other (in my gut I think more
rich families than poor families, but that's gut, not reality), does
not make betraying and distrusting family members a good or right
standard for our lives. You should be able to trust your parents more
than any other person alive -- it's too bad that many of us can't. I'd
like to think that Dick Cheney would never out Mary without her
consent... I don't know if that's the case... I suspect it is given
what I've heard.
