Technically the use of 50 cal heavy machine guns against people can be
considered a war crime according to the Geneva Conventions. However
they can be used against equipment and buildings, which is the typical
excuse given by the military.

Have you ever seen what a round a half inch in diameter will do to a
body? Its not pretty.
