There is a substantial amount of evidence that our intelligence services knew something was going on. But here were communication failures all over the place. At least one of the terrorists was on the FBI watch list, but the FBI did not tell INS. Similar failures occurred with the CIA and the DIA. Also airport security was laughable, both at Logan and Dulles.
I have no problem with rigorously enforcing current laws. I object to enacting new laws that are unconstitutional or discriminatory. larry -- Larry C.
