Subject: Re: Farscape, anybody?

I watched it. I liked the parts that were Farscape. I hated the parts
that were "we're having a baby".

Call me a big girl, but I loved the baby parts. It was a long time coming
and they did it perfectly.

My personal favorite line (from Rigel): "Get your own fantasy: they're
having my baby." ;^)

It's always amazed me how Farscape is able to take the more clichd sci-fi
concepts and turn them on their heads. During the show it was great: an
interesting character would often become a regular or at least show up more
than once.

So many storylines began with groan-inducing ideas that turn out
brilliantly. The "Two-johns" idea, for example, sounded awful, but worked
unbelievably well. There are just so many examples of that.

Remember how good the episode where they switched bodies was? Remember how
bad the idea sounded before your watched it?

It's just plain saddening that it was canceled so badly and so far before
its time.
