Jason Clark, who did the article, has used CF for years and years. He developed the AnandTech sites on it and he is also CEO of FuseTalk Inc which created the forum software that MM adopted. He's been at DevCon/MAX every year I think. So yeah, performance of CF is pretty important to them.
