Ha! That's a great Bush campaign slogan. I thought the below was interesting. Apparently Canada has no problem planning for its citizens needs, while America does. B.C. health officials say there are no concerns over vaccine supply here, even with the added demand. "We're not using any of the vaccine that's set aside for at-risk groups in B.C.," says Vancouver Coastal Health Authority spokeswoman Viviana Zanocco. "So it's not as though these Americans are coming in and pilfering vaccine stocks that we should have set aside for people who are elderly, or have chronic health conditions or are very young." Zanocco says 900,000 free flu vaccines have been reserved for at-risk British Columbians. "There's [also] quite a lot of vaccine in the private market," says Dr. Patricia Daly of Vancouver Coastal Health, "so I don't think we're in danger of running out." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=38 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:132370 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
