I must say, the American legal system sucks a big one. The fact you can publicly slander someone (rightly or wrongly), threaten with a massive public lawsuit then recieve payola to keep your mouth shut and sign an NDA is disturbing. Has what this lady alleged not a criminal offense? Would the police not be required to investigate her claims? Why take it to the media first and not the police? What ever happened to Kobe Bryant? Was he cleared? Was this just another money grabbing stunt? The sad thing is, Australia is slowly but surely heading this way as well. :( Or am I just an out of touch outsider...
