Before 9/11, when we were presumably at peace, the threat level was
green I guess. Now it's not, and OBL just told us he's still out
there actively planning to attack the US again. That's less security
than we had in 2000.

Further you could add in the fact that we no longer have diplomatic
relations North Korea and that they've removed the IAEA cameras from
their nuclear facilities and have publically claimed to have built a
nuclear weapon. They also claim to have a missile capable of hitting
the US.

Then there's Iran.

Patriot Act.

It's interesting that you're equating trust in the President with who
gets elected. Are you saying that if Mr. Kerry is elected, but Mr.
Bush wins the popular vote, that Mr. Kerry will have 100% trust from
the American people?

It's interesting because it seems like people are losing trust in US
institutions overall. I just saw a poll that said that 30% of likely
voters don't think their vote will be counted.

I think people distrust the Supreme Court more.

I think people distrust the electoral college system.

I think people distrust the Catholic church more these days.

I guess I don't that whomever wins the election will immediately
reverse those, but maybe I'm wrong.
