i don't know how many lives we have saved. However, we have put more lives in harms way by losing track of 380 tons of explosives that may be in the hands of terrorists who could easily start a campaign of bombing buses, trains etc...
for instance: 5 lbs per sherman tank (see early post) is roughly the same as 5 lbs per Bus full of citizens. Average bus 1/2 full holds about 20 people. 380 tons = 380 * 2000 is 760,000 lbs 760,000 / 5 = 152,000 charges 152,000 * 20 people = 3 million and change worth of decimal lives. I am so glad GW has made the world a safer place.
