C'mon Jim that's a bit harsh for a couple of off the cuff remarks. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Davis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 3:26 PM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: Kerry 298 Bush 231
Honestly the last bunch of messages in this thread really sicken me. I just took my six year old son to vote and he was more mature about it that some of the people on this thread. I will support the president as selected by the process. Remember however that "support" does not mean "deify": no matter who wins I will watch closely and criticize and praise actions as they meet my personal feelings. I hope Bush does not win, I did not choose him as my CANDIDATE, but if he does win he will be my PRESIDENT. As such he deserves my respect and my scrutiny. Partisan extremism and hateful rhetoric is perhaps the biggest problem facing the country today. This kind of unhelpful, unconstructive, useless extremism that hurts this country more in the long run than any presidential term ever could. [I feel bad for ignoring a technical invocation of the Hitler rule... but so be it.] Jim Davis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Sams Teach Yourself Regular Expressions in 10 Minutes by Ben Forta http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=40 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:133719 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
