I agree, but Dana makes a good point that the win doesn't invalidate
the concerns.  All it does is say that Mr. Bush now has an opportunity
to prove those concerns unfounded.

I don't view the election as an "I'm right and you're wrong"; I view
it as a collective guess about the future based on experience.

It's quite possible, therefore, that the collective guess about the
future will be wrong.

In either case it's not too late for Mr. Bush to change course to
address those concerns.
