It's written in C++. But there are plenty of other things to revel in. Things like memos from panicked election board members who are asking why the DB file is not password protected and the Diebold attempt to justify it. And then once they did finally password parts, it's found that all the installs everywhere use the same password and they are required to because the password is hard coded into the app in order to get into the DB. (I'll give you one guess what the password is.) And then there was the panicked memo from the 2002 elections to Diebold asking them why the system would be registering a ~-12,000 votes for Gore. Or this year in Florida where the system couldn't handle more than 32,000 records and once it hit that amount it started counting backwards. And the best part? O'Dell, CEO of Diebold at a republican fund-raiser in 2003 stated that he is "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the President next year." Yeah, it's hard not to be cynical when the system is obviously flawed. -Kevin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:135075 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
