It hasn't? Let see. Egypt has a peace treaty with Israel. Not a strong one, but
one none the less. Jordan has a peace treaty with Israel. Not a strong one
either, but a treaty none the less. We've been around for thousands of years.
We've been in Israel for thousands of years. If it takes a few more for our
enemies to see the futility of attacking and accept peace, then it'll take the
time. Being as old as we are, we have patience.
We will NOT take the next step that you suggest which is wiping out the
Palestinians.

By my reasoning, Israel is responsible for the safety of its population and is
doing the best job they can while still being humane. Rather than kill all of
the Palestinians, they target the ones who are performing attacks. Rather than
push all Palestinians out of the disputed territories, they are building
barriers to stop attacks. Rather than prevent any Palestinian from getting into
Israel for work, they have checkpoints set up to remove attackers from the
general mass of Palestinians.
They can and are protecting their people in the context of a humane
civilization. They just can't get recognition for it.
