When I went to Lousianna, the couple I stayed with had two dogs. A
little tan pomeranian, and a big brown Irish Setter named Ripley.
They were both very friendly, except that Ripley seemed tobe a bit
reserved around me. Fox was happy and always jumping around an dplaying
and stuff.

So anyways, we went to a bar that night, and I got plastered (surprised?
;-) ). So I teetered and tottered back to my room in their house, and
collapsed on the bed.

At around 4 in the morning..I felt something cold against my neck. I
ignored the sensation for a while thinking that if I stayed real still
it would go away.

Then I felt and heard a SNORT.

One word suddenly SCREAMED through my hangover!
BEAR!
A Bear had gotten into the house!

This was Louissianna...there were Bears..Bears everywhere! It was a
Bear! A Bear in my room just like those campers in Yellowstone a while
back. That's what I was thinking as I threw the covers off, rocked back
and over the edge of the bed, fell to the floor and yelled!

I heard the scampering and scrambling of claws on the hardwood floor Big
large menacing claws I was SURE!
And promptly fell over as I headed for the door, my legs getting
thoroughly tangled in the grasping folds of my blanket.

The large brown shape shot past me and out the door, running up the
dimly lit hall.......

Long brown tail tucked well between his legs.....

Hi all.

For reasons which would be odious to go into, me and all the other
developers here are feeling really down today. No-one's smiling,
no-one's taking the **** out of each other, no-one's even speaking.
Everything seems utterly pointless, and morale is non-existent.
Motivation and job satisfaction seem a distant memory.

We need some sympathy/hugs/muffins/jokes/general cheering up.

Can anyone help a developer in need.......?
