My wife got me 2 gerbils for my birthday as a gag gift, I was harrassing her with them at the pet stores and she is afraid of mice, but not gerbils ???? The pair she got was supposed to be 2 males, but one wasn't. Since we discovered a small, but open market in the city, we decided to start breeding for color. Gray is our best color yet, but we have gotten some nice black ones with white paws.
