I have been noticing that everytime I use my wireless card I have to
refresh my tcp/ip stack, ie do something in tcp/ip -->wireless card
and reboot, before I can connect. This is pretty consistent regardless
of hotstop or network used by the hotspot. I can always however
connect after doing so. Anyone have any suggestions for fixing this?
Short of an OS install? LOL.

fwiw this is w98 on an ibm thinkpad. I bought it used and it works for
what I use it for. Not planning to install linux or xp :> though if
there were a registry setting for example....

?
