I'm not joking!  All of my cash is in Euros, Kroners, Swiss Francs,
Yen, and Yuan.  The only dollars I have are the ones in my pocket and
there's less than 40 of them.

You are right though - long term I'm in the US with mutual funds like
Mairs & Powers growth fund, Vanguard Health fund, Fidelity Conta Fund,
et. al., plus some other stuff.

A great site to use is http://www.financialengines.com  It was started
by a great professor my wife had, William Sharpe, who is a Nobel Prize
winner.

It let's you look at your savings and tells you how much you'll have
when you retire.  Scary but useful!
