For all the SE guys/gals out there...

We have a site that we have done a redeesign for, the previous developer
had some pretty bad page naming conventions, and we went ahead and renamed
the pages so that it would be easier to maintain.

HOWEVER - the current pages are very nicely entrenched into the search
engines, and if we lose those pages, three years worth of SE work will be
down the drain. Is there a safe redirect that we can use for these old
pages so that Google, etc will not blackball or drop the ranking of these
pages? Has anyone done this before? I want to avoid having to make copies
of the new design with all the page names...

Thanks!

Ray
