Tony,

I understood the frustration, and that you were speaking from that rather than 
from any hatred or dislike of the Bible per se. But to clarify, the Torah is 
the Jewish name for the Bible, with the qualification that there are books that 
are in the Christian version of the Bible that are not considered part of the 
Bible for Jews. The Torah consists of three parts: Torah (the five books of 
Moses -- Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy), Nevi'im 
(Prophets) and Ketuvim (writings) and do not include anything that is known to 
Christians as the New Testament (a name that Jews will not use because that 
would imply that the Torah was outdated and that the NT replaces it.)

If you want, I can give you a list of the different books that are in the three 
parts of the Torah.
