All I know age wise is that my older 2 have no problem with the concept
while my youngest is too young to care. We're talking 7 and 8.5 year olds.
Both are solid in their math, both are solid in their Hebrew studies. The
chances of both going into some sort of scientific/tech field are high. 

As for keeping it separate, why? Those that believe and are scientists
usually go to the type of schools where they are together. But then again
these are private schools who have some set ideas of how things should be
done.
