Definately a touchy subject these 'defense, discussions...

Basically, I wouldn't blame any nation to at least want a say in their
own territory... military wise....ect.

I'm sure Martin is walking a tigh rope, he does (I believe) want to
strengthen relations between Canada and the US... But he must also
look after the interest of his country, just like Mr Bush's
responsibility is to look after the interest of his country.

Somewhere in the middle of that, they will work together I'm sure. Or
at least, give it a shot.
