I truly, truly feel sorry for people with the attitude that it is okay to kill innocent people. How pathetic is that attitude. Yes, innocents will get killed. It happens. But this will continue to escalate. The world is a far different place than a John Wayne movie (and yes, I do enjoy watching them, but I know they are fantasy, just my inner kid feeling some nostalgia).
In them it is usually black and white, no shades of gray. Only, there are many, many shades of gray. I like the idea or "theirs" and "ours". "Theirs" must not love their children, wives, husbands, parents, etc. We love "ours". "They" must not feel pain or regret. "We" do. This all sounds very Christian. I wonder what Christ would say about all this? "We should nuke them, the heathens." What do they say in church? I don't attend, agnostic, but I have to wonder.
