If you want to see the best graphics on PS2 you really have to check out "Jak III" or "Ratchet and Clank". "Splinter Cell" and "Prince of Persia" also look great, but were both also available on the XBox.
The "Final Fantasy" and "Onimusha" series have excellent graphics, but hands down the best pre-rendered video sequences - they're stunning to see. But really, forget about Graphics and check out "Katamari Damacy" or the better Eye Toy games. For pure fun they just can't be beat. ;^) Also, try to find some of the best bombs in the market place. "Ico" is the best game I've ever played. "Rez" is brilliant. "Beyond Good and Evil" is sublime. "Metal Arms" is insane and "Primal" is masterful (if glitchy). But none of these games sold squat so most of them can be found in bargin bins for less than $10.
