I know there are a few of you out there like me - Canadians that work in the U.S.
Thanks to my recent marriage to my soul mate, Julie (we are celebrating our one month anniversary today! YAY!!!), who is an American citizen, I am going through the green card process. Before now, I worked in the U.S. on TN visas. We tried to fill out all of the forms for weeks, but finally decided yesterday to go through a lawyer... an expensive proposition, but worth it (I think). We spent 3 1/2 hours this morning going through all the paperwork at the law offices, and we have a bunch more things to do before we can get everything going. I am just curious if there's anyone else out there who has done this... and how smooth or horrible the process was for them. Did you try to do it yourself or go through an immigration lawyer? -- Sincerely, Brian Meloche http://www.brianmeloche.com User Group Manager, Cleveland Macromedia Users Group, http://www.clevelandmmug.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:141624 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
