I used a CD cleaner a few months back, picked it up at Walmart, not sure
of the brand, but did DVD, CD's, etc... and it worked like a charm. Was
only like 30 bucks or something. Brought my old windows XP cd back to
life after I left it rolling around in a box of crap for almost a year
and y ou could barely see anything but scratches

Subject: dirty cd's

hey guys.
i picked up some GPS software used on ebay.
one of the cd's is unreadable due to tinny pin holes in the plastic.

any one know a way to clean it or a buffer that works well?
never used a cd cleaner, so am not sure if it is even worth it.
