I know this was a joke, but that's one thing I really hope to see in my lifetime: us actually sending a rover (or, maybe, even a person) to the site of that crash so we can see what happened. ;^) Of sending something to the site of one of the Viking Landers to examine how the weather's been treating them. There just something so interesting to me about that kind of thing: revisiting one of our visits. I can't actually describe why, but the idea really gives me goosebumps.
