I said:
HAD WMD's and used them
Not
HAS WMD's and used them.

I never thought WMDs were the main reason, just one of many. I did
believe he had them and have no idea were they are now considering the
UN weapons inspectors documented them ten years ago but can't find
them now. I find it hard to believe he would have destroyed them in
secret knowing easiest way to remove the sanctions was to prove he
destroyed them.

Since the WMDs were documented the burden was on Saddam to prove he
got rid of them.
The fact that he acted like he still had them when he had no reason to
act that way is a bit confusing to me yet it's clear as day to you.

He disobeyed all the UN resolutions for years.
Gassed his own people.
Invaded Kuwait.
Attacked Israel while the world was forcing him out of Kuwait.
Destroyed oil fields during the retreat.
Set up Sal Pac - spelling? terrorist training camp.
Kicked out weapons inspectors.
After 9/11, when Bush said we would stop any nation that supports
terror, Saddam announced rewards to families of suicide bombers. When
confronted he raised the reward to $25k
Shot at American planes every day.

One month before the war Hans Blix said we know he has the weapons but
he won't let us do random inspections. A week before the war Hans Blix
said he's giving us access, lets wait. It was too late.
