Didyaknow that you can make a cheap knock-off of Thousand Island that
tastes just as yummy?

Of course you might have to like Thousand Island before this tip is of
any use to you ...

Anyway:
3/4 cup mayonaise
1 Tbsp sweet relish
2 Tbsp ketchup
2 Tbsp finely chopped green bell pepper
2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 Tsp granulated sugar
1/4 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 hard-cooked egg, chopped (optional)

Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl except the egg. Once all
ingredients are mixed together well, you can stir in the chopped egg.
Keep refrigerated.

Store bought dressing costs between $2.50 and $4.00 a jar or bottle
these days, unless you buy it on deep discount.
The homemade variety can cost much much less :)

Cheers,
Erika
