It's not a knock off, looks like a pretty standard recipe except I have never
heard of chopped egg.

All dressings are easy to make at home, as well as the mayonnaise that is the
base of most of the creamy styles. But you'll have to wait until I get home so
that I have time to share my secrets.

...
...Didyaknow that you can make a cheap knock-off of Thousand Island that
...tastes just as yummy?
...
...Of course you might have to like Thousand Island before this tip is of
...any use to you ...
...
...Anyway:
...3/4 cup mayonaise
...1 Tbsp sweet relish
...2 Tbsp ketchup
...2 Tbsp finely chopped green bell pepper
...2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
...1 Tbsp lemon juice
...1/2 Tsp granulated sugar
...1/4 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
...1 hard-cooked egg, chopped (optional)
...
...Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl except the egg. Once all
...ingredients are mixed together well, you can stir in the chopped egg.
...Keep refrigerated.
...
...Store bought dressing costs between $2.50 and $4.00 a jar or bottle
...these days, unless you buy it on deep discount.
...The homemade variety can cost much much less :)
...
...
...Cheers,
...Erika
