I stopped bitching to the system and started finding ways to work it.
Instead of wasting time making endless phone calls to some $5 customer
service manager over in bangalore India, I just fill out a nice little form
at the BBB and wait for the manager to call me (Motorola, Verizon, AT&T at
the big ones this happened to)! Funny how fast things seem to work out when
the reputation of a business is on the line. If I order something and it is
either the wrong item, wrong order, damaged, wrong product, terrible
service, etc.. Same thing. Letter to the BBB, phone call to get the charge
removed fom my CC and I sit back and wait for the schmucks to call me. I
stopped playing the customer service game long ago because 90% of the time
the company is just out to dick you around even more; why waste time
fighting a losing battle? Customer service only wins when I give in and make
the call thinking maybe they changed. They never will.

Bam!
