Yeah, like the District doesn't have big howling needs it could be spending the money on. The hypocrisy just makes me very angry. Consider this as you watch the news coverage of the extravaganza. Doctors treating the tsunami victims say they need $40 million to avert a disaster. Students at a reservation high school in Ramah NM sent the money they have raised for a prom. Bush... throws a party. Soldiers need armor on their Humvees. Bush invites a handful of them to the party.
