Keeping up with all the latest findings is tough, especially when you take a lot of supplements and/or meds. One day, "they" say "x" is ok, the next day just the opposite... 3 months later, back to the original, etc. So it's tough. I take the following everyday: Multivitamin Vitamin E Vitamin C Flax Seed Oil Fish Oil Creatine (on workout days) Whey Protien Isolate (on workout days) The only time I feel adverse affects is when I forget to take them in my daily rush to get out the door! As far as the meta analysis etc.. I have no idea. I saw a nutritionalist when I started working out heavily as well as my doctor, both of which are aware of my supplement intake and purpose for doing so. Neither had an objection. When I inquired about the vitamin E a few weeks ago, my PCP said not to worry until more substantial data has come out. Right now there is a lot of conflicting data.
